A calm hike through one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in Chile’s central region: the Lagunillas Sanctuary. Established as a protected area in 2008, it holds valuable mountain ecosystems and covers an area of 13,426 ha. between 800 and 4,000 meters above sea level. We will see mountain flora and fauna in San José de Maipo, in addition to the confluence of three mountain wetlands. This is a very good hike to understand the geology and formation of the Cajón del Maipo.
