Experience a trek immersed in wild nature and imposing views of the Cajón del Maipo. The Carreño Valley takes you through a silent, rarely visited landscape to an ancient glacial lagoon that seems suspended in time.
From Hotel Las Majadas, we travel east to the Colina Hot Springs, the starting point of the hike. The trail heads south between mountains rising above 3,500 meters above sea level, in an atmosphere of absolute tranquility. After 4.5 km, we reach Laguna Carreño, a hidden gem at the end of the valley. The return follows the same route, for a total duration of approximately 6 hours round trip.
This excursion is available only during spring and summer, or until the first snowfalls close access.
