We head for the Yeso valley, a beautiful mountain valley surrounded by up to 4.000 mt high summits. We arrive to Pulpería el Arriero. Here we have a short briefing about horse riding and we will learn about muleteer life in the mountains. The route passes through an old and wide mining road.

•Location and season
Our trip passes through a big part of the Cajon del Maipo and connects us to the Yeso valley. The paved road will take us through the valley for about 30 minutes until we finally reach the Pulperia del Arriero by van. This is where we will begin our horse ride which will lead us through the Cortaderas valley and ends in a beautiful meadow with views of the Meson Alto glacier, Morado Hill and others.
This excursion is only possible in summer and winter. Access can be restricted with the first snowfalls due to the ice and snow in the region.

Participants will, together with our guides and muleteers, get to know more about life a s a mountain muleteer and witness on sight big geological heritage of the Cajon Del Maipo. The guide and muleteer will be with you all the time and, apart from interesting mountain stories, provide you with security and relevant information of what is happening.
